CONDITIONS: SSW windswell in the waist to chest range with some shoulder high sets. Wind is supposed to be pretty light out of the SW all day. A little chop on it this morning but over all it’s pretty clean. Tide is full this morning and things are a little mushy but conditions will improve as the tide drops out. Get out and spend all day in the water people!!! Have a happy 4th of July!

OUTLOOK: Leftover SSW windswell for the weekend and light southerly onshores. It’s the holiday weekend and there’s surf, so there’s no excuse to not get in the water!

CONDITIONS: Sloppy knee to waist plus SSW waves that should get better with the dropping tide later this morning into the afternoon. Unfortunately the increasing SW onshores will make a mess of things. Can we all say choppy and sloppy?!

OUTLOOK: Bump up out of the SW for tomorrow with light S wind turning NE offshore sometime in the day. Continued light to moderate S to SW wind for the weekend and southerly swell. Get out and and get wet this 4th of July weekend!

CONDITIONS: light winds, small summer waves
OUTLOOK: more leftover S-SE summertime waves.  still overall, fairly weak but nonetheless disturbed weather that keeps things at ~more or less~ rideable,, a storm in the Eastern N Atlantic (background ENE swell for a few places) mid-end week, and some pulses of stronger tradewinds sends some swell here and there. FWIW one of the ’pulses’ as we get into the weekend may develop into a tropical system, both NOAA and FNMOC are still predicting  this, the track record is never that reliable predicting tropical systems 5-6 days out,  but agreement lends itself to some plausibility.

Winds for most of the week are Southerly getting a with Thurs looking to be a bit breezy out of the S-SW.
