Grain Stand Up Paddle Boards
by Mr Christian on April 9, 2007
Looks as if Grain's Mike LaVecchia has crafted a SUB… stand up board or stand up paddle board. His brother Nick LaVecchia has the photo proof. Now lets see some SUB surfing action!

Looking cold Mike! That thing is a monster… check out www.grainsurfboards.com.

Mike LaVecchia sent me an email detailing what's going on with the Grain SUB program.
Hey Christian, thanks for posting those photos, they look great. I just want to clarify one thing for your viewers. While that board is big (12' x 24" x 3.5"), and might be a good SUB for smaller paddlers, it isn't really our standard stand up paddle board. We are working on a SUB that will be more like 12' x 30" x 4.5", and hope to have that available in custom board and Home Grown Kit form sometime in the early summer. Thanks Christian. Let me know when you want to try it out.
