FOTW for July 24th

So for last weeks FOTW I was talking about how my camera was being fixed and I haven’t shot any surf photos in ages. So on Wednesday, the day before the TS Beryl swell showed up, my trusty old Nikon D70 showed up with the UPS man. I was totally stoked that I was going to get to shoot and surf again! On Thursday I shot a whole bunch of stuff and I was a bit rusty in the shooting department to say the least. I know some of you are chopping at the bit for some images, but don’t worry a full gallery is on the way and should be up on Monday or Tuesday night. I started sifting through photos tonight (Sunday) but my digi work flow was working in slow motion so I’m only getting the FOTW up tonight.

I don’t know who this guy is but this photo was from Cisco Beach on Nantucket and was taken sometime on Thursday afternoon. This guy is probably not thrilled with how this wave turned out because TS Beryl is having the last laugh… you win some you lose some!
