Ethiopian Family Adventure
by Scott Weston on May 11, 2010
First there was #1 Then there was #2 Now the whole family travelled back to Ethiopia and and adopted a third child, Maraya Mihret W. What an experience, seeing our kids play soccer, pushing the other kids on the swings, coloring all around just enjoying being around other kids. They could not speak to each other since we have yet to learn the native language Amarhic, and they know little if any English, but that hardly slowed them down. Anyway, it was a different agency this time called All God’s Children since we followed Almaz, who helped out with the other adoptions when she lived here in the states, actually new england. She had since moved back to Ethiopia and is now the director of the Ethiopia side of AGC.
Both sad too leave, but happy to be home,
- Scott
