42nd Annual New England Midwinter Surfing Championships GO!

There is a nice fat swell running.  There will be some nice surf somewhere tomorrow.  No doubt about it.  We are going to run the contest.  Signups will take place at the Narragansett Town Beach from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM.  If there are snow showers or rain, we will take sign ups under the first beach pavilion.  After checking out all locations, we will move to a point or reef break for the best possible surf.  All finalists will receive a pair of $29.95 Hyperflex Oven Mitt winter gloves for for their trouble.  Entry fee is $20.00.  See ya in the AM.

Gansett Juice Surf Shop will be offering a 20% discount to all ESA competitors if they need boots, mitts, or suits.  Shop will open at 10 AM.
